Connect Good to Book to Hostaway

Good to Book helps short-term accommodation providers prevent disruptive guest incidents by checking bookings against a secure network of incident reports. When connected to Hostaway, guest checks run automatically, and you’ll get real-time alerts to review incident reports before confirming a reservation.

Follow the steps below to connect your Hostaway account.

How to connect your Hostaway account

Step 1: Sign Up or Log In

New to Good to Book? Sign up here
Already a member? Log in here

Once logged in:

  1. 1. Go to your Integrations page in Good to Book.
  2. 2. Find the Hostaway integration and click Link.
  3. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: Get Your Hostaway Account ID & API Key

You’ll need these from your Hostaway dashboard:

  1. 1. Log into Hostaway, go to Marketplace.
  2. 2. Search for Good to Book and click Configure.
  1. 3. Click Connect to start generating your keys.
  1. 4. Click Create to generate your API Key.
  1. 5. Copy and save the key – it will only be shown once.

Step 3: Connect Hostaway to Good to Book

  1. 1. In Good to Book, enter your Hostaway Account ID and API Key.
  2. 2. Click Link.
  3. If entered correctly, you’ll see a Successful Integration message. You’ll also receive a welcome email confirming the connection.

Step 4: You’re Ready to Book with Confidence

Once connected, Good to Book automatically checks each new booking and, if a potential match is found in our incident report network, notifies you by email, Hostaway notifications, or booking tasks so you can review the report on the Good to Book platform before deciding whether to confirm the booking.
